  1. The highest heels I wear are 75 millimeters (3 inches) tall. And at church a lot of the time I'm the only one wearing heels. And is/are the person(s) in the choir wearing a dress, heels, and painted fingernails soprano and/or alto? No, it's the bass singer (myself).
I get sick and tired of.seeing people wearing jeans and gym shoes. I could see that informal wear for some low key nondenominational church, but I think people need to dress up for a high formal Episcopal church. And from time to time I will wear a man's coat and tie outfit but I'm burned out with that being the only choice for men's formal wear.

  2. I get a chuckle when I am at the mall during prom season and see young women trying to walk in high heels. Some high school girls seemingly have never wore high heels. Some stumble all over the place and have big smiles on their faces, knowing how badly they are doing. My preference is 3 1/2 inch heels. I did order two pairs off ebay one time that were advertised as 4" heels but turned out to be 5" heels that caused a lot of discomfort in the calf muscles. Obviously, any person needs to stretch (slowly) the leg muscles. If I am out for an evening stroll in a dress, heels and hosiery I wear a low rise wedge. Walking in a narrow heel on concrete sidewalks is a killer on my legs and destroys the heels.

    1. And I'm a 71 year old man who can manage 3 inch heels. It's hard for me to believe young women not being able to walk in high heels.

    2. It's living in sneakers 364 days out of the year and then wanting to wear heels to prom. They do not have the experience.

  3. I grew up in church. Women wore hat gloves and heels. Men wore tie and coats. Our church is air conditioned. Still both men and women come in shorts tee shirts and flip flops. For one hour dress slacks shirt/blouse too much to ask? There is such a thing as proper attire. I’m not here to judge others respect yourself!

    2. If you watch old news reels from the 1940's men wore coats and ties to baseball games and women wore dresses. Now, if I want to see women in dresses and heels/hosiery I have to go to Costco on Sundays after evangelical churches are over to watch them buy all their kids $1.50 hot dogs & soda.

    1. Since you can pass very well in public , it must be difficult to resist crossdressing in order to walk the straight and narrow path. Well at my age now , I have to strive to seek the narrow path in resisting CD feelings.
