  1. Amazing. Back in the day they used to have men selling ladies shoes. Not now in the woke madness!

    1. In my neck of the woods, I find males and females selling ladies' shoes. I will never forget the time I was shopping for shoes in Nordstrom and a salesman asked if I needed help. I admitted that I did because it was hard to find shoes in my unique-for-a-female shoe size. The salesman went to the stockroom and returned with about 15 boxes of shoes in my size!

    2. Nordstrom is amazing! On occasion I can find some very nice, stylish size 12W shoes in Nordstrom Rack. If my foot surgery hadn't effectively taken me out of heels, I could find many more that fit me! Sigh....

    3. When my brother was working his way through college he worked in the women's shoe department at Macy's on Herald Square. It was still the era when women always wore dresses; never pants, especially when shopping for shoes and clothes. There were many women who intentionally would show their panty when he slipped the shoe on their feet. Some women went further than that and were exhibitionists. I'll leave it at that.

  4. A few years ago I was shopping in Payless (sigh...how I miss you...) and found a pair of pumps I wanted to try on before purchasing. Despite being a "do it yourself" type of shoe store, a nice saleswoman asked if I needed any help. She looked down and saw my stocking feet beneath my jeans and replied to her own question: "I guess not!" and gave me a wink and a little time alone to take a few steps in the heels I eventually purchased. Her kindness was unexpected and very much appreciated and it was the first time I truly realized I could be enhomme and buy women's clothes and the world would not implode!

    Ciao! Elise

    1. I always had good experiences with Payless. I think there had to be corporate training that men were good customers for all those size 12 and 13 on the racks. I always bought under the Halloween ruse, which probably was known to be a cross dresser ruse. Anyway, the male manager of one store was enthusiastic and suggesting I buy a second pair of heels at half price and hosiery. New to this shopping experience of buying heels I declined a second pair. After all, why would a guy need a second pair if he is dressing for Halloween? It takes a pair to buy more than one pair, if you know what I mean.
