Mainstream Feminization

Yesterday morning, while I was washing the breakfast dishes, my spouse was watching Drew Barrymore’s daytime television show. My spouse was interested in the cake that Drew and guests were decorating, while I was interested in the male guest who was wearing a flowing purple halter-top dress (above left).

The male guest was Jonathan Van Ness, who is well-known for his feminine wardrobe. I have seen Jonathan in the past, typically on some cable channel late at night, so I was surprised to see him on a major network’s (ABC) daytime television show.

In the afternoon, while I was doing the laundry, “All Access” was playing on our television and the topic of conversation was the growing popularity of men’s lingerie. They were talking about all sorts of lingerie for men, including bras! They even showed a photo of the host Mario Lopez, in lingerie for an episode of Nip/Tuck (above right).

And so it goes!

  3. I enjoyed Fallon's "Real Housewives Of Late Night" segments. A few of those guys gave the impression that they were NOT civilians, too!

    2. Easy pick -- AD Miles! Of the bunch (or should I say gaggle) I think AD could do the best walking down the street undetected.

    3. YES! AD Miles for sure, Jimmy needs a better beard cover. Although, coming from a VERY Italian Boston Based family, he resembles some of my aunts and cousins without it!

  4. I know some people will assume I am gay or trans whether I present occasionally as full femme in a wig, makeup and heels or more typically as genderqueer— a man in a pretty dress. Nobody has ever asked me for specifics as to WHY I’m dressed the way I am. What I would hope they see is a person who is comfortable enough in their own skin to be their true self, which someone who just loves wearing a skirt and any or all of the fun things that go with it.

    1. I agree with you. I'm guessing that if you are in the U.S. that you are in the part that is north of the Mason Dixie line. I have been to several places in the U.S. that are south of that line and everyone that I have talked with so far i.e.at least 10 or more people who have femulated several times in public in different southern areas told me that if you are "read" and/or don't pass as a woman you will get a variety of differing reactions both from men and women. Sometimes a funny look along with a little laughter to some people who I deem as super ignorant that will say nasty stuff out loud so everyone can hear and see them as well as yourself and they get worst the longer you are around them. There are places in the Southern U. S. where you can femulate and even if you don't pass it's not a big deal it won't be a problem but just remember that there are two things in this world that you cannot saturate-LAZYNESS & IGNORANCE & YOU WILL FIND THAT EVERYWHERE YOU GO!!!

I have a new noisy neighbor next to me who looks through my fence and when they see me femulating on my side of the fence they start screaming their personal hatred about what I'm doing etc. before they disappear into their house or else leave in their car. I have never met them since they moved in, I have never said anything to them. I no longer feel safe to femulate outside my house. Haters have to hate and nothing you say and/or do will usually change their mindset. I recommend that you always have some sort of weapon on you to defend yourself preferably a weapon that you can easily use with the ability to incapacitate/stun them for awhile to allow you to get to a safe place so that you can call the Police etc. I like to take pictures/video if possible but only they are seriously unconscious and/or incapacitated and only if I can do that safely. Don't leave yourself vulnerable at any time, Get to a safe place/situation and then call the Police, record details etc.. I been attacked in drab twice and almost a third time. The third time I screamed, Yelled i.e. made alot of noise and I also pulled out both my razor sharp knives I always carry with me everywhere I go. Always be aware of your surroundings at all time and plan out three escape routes in advance. It's better to be safe than sorry. You Go Girl!!! Ms. S.A S. AKA Ms. Missi.
