  1. RE: Today's Femulate Her outfit -- mixing 2 different leopard print patterns? Am I the only one who thinks this is a bad idea??

  2. Lol. The top is cringeworthy and as neither item is technically "Leopard" print, the most charitable thing would be to label them both as "Animal Print"... Just say NO to that top! 😉

    1. Why are neither "Leopard"? That spot pattern is leopard, even though it is rather busy.

    2. If you examine real leopard spots, they appear as a flower with a brownish center and black "petals". They are not just amorphous black patches as printed on that top! 😉

  3. AGREED!
    Considering...
That photo was done by a professional photogs, and probably the buyer for the clothing line for the womens clothing store, as well as the advertising rep.
    They totally blew it.
If you look at the ladies ads, you will occasionally see such blunders.
Often the store buyer is the culprit-(and often the buyer is a MAN- non femulator-, as they will buy what THEY like and the whole clothing line will suffer from lack of sales.
Soon the buyer will be replaced by someone with STYLE and TASTE.

    1. My brother used to be the lingerie buyer in an upscale British department store. He chose well I still grind my teeth about to this day!

  4. Perhaps George's wife was tired of him showing her up. Such a fashion faux pas would certainly put the focus on her -- or would it??

  5. The Halloween femulator, from the 1960s most definitely not a civilian

  6. I was wondering about the Hallowe'en femulator -- is it the tiara or the wig that's a little off?? And I like the seamed stockings. My mother told me that during WWII when nylon was in short supply she and her sister would sit in the sun to tan their legs -- and then use a pen to draw "seams" on each other's legs. What we girls will do for fashion!

  7. Well in UK during WW2 when no silk stockings available (GI's brought over nylons).
to look like you wre wearing stockings gravy browning was used (instant tan) and the seam drawn down with a crayon
