Father’s Day Wish

Father’s Day is fast approaching and my daughter and wife keep asking what do I want for Father's Day.

I shrug and say, “I dunno.”

But in reality, I do know what I want for Father's Day, but I am afraid to say that I want them to take me to a nice restaurant to dine en femme.

My daughter would probably go for it, but my wife, not so much. She would probably be happy to get a day off from cooking a meal at home, but is that a big enough incentive to be seen in public with a man in a dress?

It would be a grand outing since I have not been out and about en femme post-pandemic. Guess it won’t happen unless I take the first step.

As Chauncey Depew once said, “The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.”

I’ve stayed where I am too long.

From the outside looking in - I can well understand the pleasure you'd have in dining en femme - but I'd ask you - is it worth the risk of disrupting familial harmony? Yes, it would be a memorable lunch for you - but it would also be a memorable lunch for your wife - perhaps for all the wrong reasons. I imagine that she'd be worried (code for terrified) about being recognised.. and the resultant gossip that might follow.
I think the sad truth is that we can't have it all.

Dear Stana ,        Your Fathers Day Wish is a Wife's Day Nightmare , even though we have a Part transfeminine identity which exists with our or male genetic being , a dear wife's Identity is insulted and hurt by a competing femulating husband , the majority of women will Not stay married to a trans-dressing husband . Refraining from dressing enfemme , shows the love we have for our spouse .

  3. A wonderful idea -- and I understand the hesitation. My spouse has been supportive over the years, but would rather not be involved.

  4. The least you can do is simply ask....
If the answer is no, dont dwell.

  5. “The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.” Good Quote

Or as my Dad would say "When you do nothing, nothing happens"

My spouse has done it in the past a long time ago. The difference is we were in a city many states away or in NYC. In her backyard you can forget about it.

  7. My dear Stana, seven years ago, I had dinner with my daughter on Father's Day while I was in FEM. Both had a great time this, is worth risking to enjoy a Father's Day at FEM. By e-mail I send you the photo of that great day.

  8. This was a bit heart-rending to read. I can profess to have no advice, no words of wisdom, for I am still young and my life has not been a fraction of the daring that you have brought to your own.

That said, if you haven't already, seek out Real Life Comics (start from here: https://reallifecomics.com/comic.php?comic=june-29-2020) and then maybe watch this video? (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG-TrnwH4iQ).

They may not do much either, but they are, at least, happy.

    Love,

    Joanna

  9. well, I would just ask your daughter for a night out credit and then schedule a fancy dinner with her just the two of you.

  12. Dear Stana, I recommend you this site ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC93MGF5bFV3lgnnvpn8VlrA ) it belongs to Fabricio Castro. He and his team worked as makeup artists in Hollywood. When they were unemployed, they dedicated themselves to doing makeup at home.
One day they asked him to put makeup on a young man who was going to turn 15 years old and wanted a quinceañera party. Now, apart from his makeup job, he also turns boys into quinseañeras.

    1. The video is a fake, Fernanda. Read my June 9th post where I describe why the video is a fake. Also read Anna Maria's comment following that post.

    2. I agree that some videos are false, but for example, Carlos Arturo's, you can see how they make up the boy. I think that this is real. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mavAxUPJLxw&t=103s

  13. I agree with you and can think of no better present. However, it would be stressful for everyone else involved, and consequently, not enjoyable for me. But a girl can dream. I too am bombarded with requests for what I want for fathers' day. I look at the conventional father's day ads touting "what he wants for his big day". Nothing there that interests me. TH

  14. I also am constantly being asked what I want for Fathers day. I look at the ads touting "what he wants for his big day" and find nothing that interests me. The Mothers day selections are much more appealing. I also would like a lunch out en femme. However, the others would be uncomfortable, and henceforth, it would not be enjoyable for me. Oh well, a girl can dream.
