Something Lacking Dept.
I lack a female derriere. Viewing head-on, I have a reasonable facsimile of a female figure (created with the right combination of foundation garments), but viewing my profile, there is something lacking.
I tried to simulate a female derriere with padding (both homemade and store-bought), but have never been satisfied with the results. It was more bother than it was worth, so I decided to abandon the effort and go natural.
I will continue to narrow my waistline and widen my hips with a high-waisted girdle and long-line bra, but just as I have no padding in my bra, I will have no padding in my girdle.

Thanks for another instructive and entertaining post. I enjoyed the film, too. That is, once I got past the idea that they would both look so good in each other's clothes. I mean, he was a good foot taller than her! Ah well, suspension of disbelief, I guess. But it was a well made film. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteOh, hips -- and the illusion of hips! Don't we all wish we had that look. We can get very nice padding to "enhance" our hips and butts, but without the smaller waist I just end up looking like I've gotten really heavy. It's not easy, that's for sure. I know a couple TG Drag Queens who have gotten lipo body sculpting, but that's most certainly not for everyone! So I think Stana's on target with working on the waist as a primary focus with complimentary padding below to create an illusion that will work "on first glance". We all know that most folks go with that first look and then get back to what they were doing -- "Looks like a duck, must be a duck". That's my focus -- my house of cards collapses under actual scrutiny. We're all different shapes and sizes, so my remarks are specific to "Mikki" -- except the "first glance" part.
ReplyDeleteStana's BLOG brought to mind a good friend I had in high school. "L" was a pear-shaped boy who got teased about his body. We were buddies, in part because we were fellow targets of teasing. I had BRIGHT red hair and he had that sort of odd shape. But looking back, I wish I'd had some of that pear-shaping. Neither of us were athletes, but we were physically active and in pretty good shape. His waist was definitely slimmer than his hips and upper body. When he crossed his legs the crossing one was perpendicular to the floor, not angling out like most males. And -- get this -- his arms angled outward when holding them with palms up. That's what women's arms do, having adapted to carrying children over the ages. And all this potential feminine presentation was totally wasted!! Well, only to the extent that "L" might have presented as a more passable "L-ette" had he been so inclined. I wouldn't have traded bodies with him "way back then" and we don't get one of those "If I knew then what I know now" opportunities. But if we did..........
