six feet two

  1. I used to be able to pull off 6' 3 because I was a small boned one hundred and fifty pounds. But yes, one felt like the height was a decided disadvantage. Were I able to go back and do it again i wouldn't let it bother me at all.
BTW..I've long enjoyed and admired this blog.
    Continued best wishes.

  3. A lot of t-girls that are tall seem to feel that way. Maybe it's more in their head, and there own unrealistic view that feminine equals short.

Susan Anton, the hottest woman I've ever seen is 6' 1" and 185 lbs. Tyra Banks and Brooke Shields are both 5' 11" Christie Brinkley, 5' 9" Mariah Carey is also 5' 9" so is Julia Roberts. Cindy Crawford is 6' So is Geena Davis and Diane Sawyer. Mariel Hemingway is 5' 11" , so is Rachel Hunter, Nicole Kidman, Lucy Lawless, Mira Sorvino, Uma Thurman, Kathleen Turner, Sigourney Weaver.

Tall women are hot. Men dig tall women. Quit worrying about it!

  4. Staci Lana, that's a GREAT picture! I feel the same way, only my legs aren't anywhere NEAR that hot!

  5. I'm just a hair under 6'1", myself, and I haven't worried about my height for a long time. I often wear shoes or boots with 2-inch heels in drab (I've got high arches). One morning I was in the grocery store after work and I bumped into a woman(GG) who stood a good four inches taller than me, and she was wearing flats! Women are getting taller all the time.

  6. I know the feeling, and in my case it is worse because I'm 6'0 and my wife is 5'3". She hates when I wear high heels... however, I love the way my legs look in them. So, now I'm trying to convince my wife to start using stilts :)

  7. At 6' and plus size it was a challenge when I first decided to venture out of the closet. The looks and stares soon were more figment than reality and now I don't even know if they exist as I pay no attention to others, I am simply one more statuesque woman in the world.

  10. Jaye --- I have noticed that too (that women are getting taller).

  11. Dan --- There is 14-inch height difference when I wear heels, which I do most of the time en femme, and my wife, who never wears heels.

  12. Anonymous --- I agree. It is mostly inside our heads and is not the reality of the height of our heads.

  13. Hi Staci... Thank you for your answer! The difference in height between my wife and I was an issue at some point. She felt uncomfortable going out with me and having people "notice" me because of the height difference... It was a big issue for her, and she even asked me to stop wearing high heels... Fortunately, we solved the issue and now she simply doesn't care about what people thinks... has been the height difference an issue for your wife at some point?

    Best

    P.S. I like your blog :)

  14. Dan --- It is not an issue with us because sadly, my wife has no interest in going out with me en femme.

And thank you for the kind words!

  15. Staci- I'm sorry to hear that. Even with the "height issue" and may other issues in our relationship, my wife is very supportive and I'm very fortunate to have her with me. Take care!
