Don't remember exact sizes because it’s been over 50 years, but I do recall that grandmother’s was way too big, sister’s was too small and mother’s was just right.
*But I DO know my wife's bra size, as I buy her bras when I buy my own! --Especially when they are on sale! Imagine the comments (and thoughts) from other the customers when I did a return of several bras to 'Ollies Discount Closeouts'. One lady commented: 'My husband would NEVER do a return for me like that' -- 'In fact he refuses to even go to the grocery store'. I replied, "Well, it's JUST UNDERWEAR!" She replied "How true'--"I dont know what all the fuss is about!" That is where I left the conversation... Rather than tell her one of the bra returns was MINE! V.
