I Squeemed

I Squeem, You Squeem, We All Squeem for Nice Squeem Dept.

Searching for something else in this blog, I came upon my post extolling the virtues of the Squeem “Perfect Waist” waist cincher. Looking at the accompanying photo, I was impressed by my curvy figure and especially my flat tummy... so impressed that I thought I should revisit wearing the Squeem.

I tried to recall why I had given up wearing the Squeem. Knowing me, I was probably distracted by a new shiny object and abandoned the Squeem for it.

Also, I wondered how the Squeem would fit now that I am 25 pounds lighter than when I had last worn it, so I got it out of storage and tried it on. It fit perfectly. The only difference was that I had to use the “skinny” row of hook-and-eye closures rather than the “chubby” row of closures.

I added my old Squeem to my arsenal of shapewear.

Live Wigs Dept.

Big wig buyer that I am, everyday I receive email ads from various wig sellers. The Wig Company recently went above and beyond simple advertisements by introducing its customers to Tia, a wig expert who guest blogged “How To Make Synthetic Wigs Look Realistic. It is an excellent piece and includes a handful of how-to videos and a link to Tia’s YouTube channel that has even more – everything you wanted to know about wigs, but didn’t know who to ask!

Your Bra is My Bra Dept.

After 38 years of marital bliss, I can’t believe that I never knew my spouse’s bra size until I did the laundry the other day and discovered that my wife wears the same size bra as I do (or vice versa). We are so compatible – a match made in heaven!

  1. I'd squeem in joy if I had that figure!

Lots of women younger than you wish their figure was as good as yours.

  3. Stana, you definitely look great in your Squeem -- you make us all want to scream. Your comment about your wife's bras made me laugh, because I wear the same size as my wife too -- onlynInseem to have twice as many bras as she does. Hmmm, I wonder why that may be?

  4. I checked out the Squeem site. The garment is 75% rubber. Is it really hot after wearing it a while?

On the garment website subject, I got a link today about Androgynous Fox. https://androgynousfox.com/ I know, this is not a site we're much interested in. I just toss it out for those early dressers who want to get out, "one toe in the water at a time". Their lemon and cherry tops are pretty, "stealth" and fitted for the female figure -- you can wear a bra under it.

    1. I would never wear the Squeem in hot summer weather unless I knew that I would be spending my time in an air-conditioned venue. It was something I mostly wore in milder and cooler weather.

  5. Wow wow wow! That hourglass figure is the envy of the neighborhood;)

And regarding wigs...just my opinion, but I often thought a wig was the one make or break item that determined how "passable" a woman was.

    1. Thank you, Elise. And I strongly agree with you about wigs and passing.

  6. Stana,
I loved the figure the Squeem vest gave me, but I only wore a couple of times. Because of the rubber content, it made me quite warm and became quite uncomfortable after a while. Curious to know if you have experienced the same thing?

    1. Hi Sally. The Squeem was warm and I would never wear it in hot summer weather unless I knew that I would be spending my time in an air-conditioned venue. It was something I mostly wore in cooler weather.
