    1. No, not a civilian. Look at that smile. It says quite clearly “ I feel so incredibly pretty, graceful and feminine! I had no idea how delightful it would feel getting all these compliments!”

    2. That look of calm and serenity... This might have been 'her first rodeo', but it surely wont be her last.
I KNOW such feelings, and compliments, after and during a full day of 'femulation'. Just like yesterday.. (Saturday) I visited the local Cato Store (here in NC!) (catofashions.com) and decided on the fuchsia color, ruffled, bell sleeve sheath dress. I wanted the 'peach color, floral version', but the colors were all wrong for me. I have been their customer before, and actually wore a previous purchase in the store. After I made the purchase, I went back into the fitting room (always REQUEST to be admitted to the fitting room. Just to 'CYA') and dressed in my new acquisition, and entered back into the showroom, to the many compliments of the sales staff. Velma age 65, 210#'s.

  2. I'm going to comment on razors. I think cartridge razors are a tremendous waste of money. A store brand of 4 cartridges (e.g., Kroger) costs about $10 if I remember correctly. At $2.50 a cartridge a person will continue to use the cartridge even as it starts to dull.
I now use the old fashioned double edge safety razor. I get at least as close a shave with it as compared to a cartridge razor. Best of all, 100 blades costs about $10.00, so at the first sign of the blade getting dull I change it out. I get about 3 or 4 facial shaves out of razor blade. It's also convenient to have two sides. When one side gets filled up I change to the other clean side, so I have to rinse the razor only half as often as a cartridge razor

    1. I do agree with you and the exorbitant prices. I use the PINK (easier color to focus on without glasses on)double blade disposable for the initial shave and then I follow up with a PINK 5 blade disposable while slowly and CAREFULLY shaving UP against the hair growth direction for a CLEAN, smooth face.
The REAL reason for a clean shave is 'old school' "Williams Mug Shaving Soap" ($1.25 a cake at Amazon) (and shaving brush) which softens the whisker hair, as well as TIGHTEN THE SKIN (which really looks good after makeup!). Strong soaps such as Williams can not be put in a pressurized can, as the can would corrode and explode(!)ergo, the old style puck. Velma

  3. I use Cremo shaving cream which does not load up the razor very quickly. It comes in a tube, and it enables the razor to glide over the face. I shave against the grain after shaving with the grain to get a really close shave.
