How'd I Do?

First of the year, I posted my To Do list for 2011. As the year is winding down quickly, it is time to review the list and see how I did.

Dress en femme more often than not --- This year, I was en femme more than ever before, but not "more often then not."

Kiss a girl --- No kisses, but lots of hugs.

Lose ten pounds --- I lost 12 pounds during 2011 (and even better, have kept it off). I think it shows and I am very happy about accomplishing this To Do.

Write a book --- I started to write a book, but did not finish it.

Get rid of my back fat --- Losing 12 pounds and using shapewear that hides back fat has essentially eliminated my back fat.

Have more nights out with the girls --- I had nights out with the girls in 2011, but probably no "more" than in 2010.

Get rid of my varicose veins --- Didn't happen; maybe next year.

Improve my blog --- The blog is a work-in-progress, so I am always tweaking it trying to improve it.

Find a new hair style --- I bought a new wig in January, which became my go-to coiffure in 2011.

Attend a transgender conference --- I attended a transgender conference in April.

Sell Avon en femme --- I made a few Avon sales en femme in 2011 and I attended an Avon sales conference in September.

Overall, I believe that 2011 was a good year for me.

  2. Dear Stana,

I think you accomplished a higher "Done" percentage on your 2011 "To Do" list than I and most of your readers would have done on their "To Do" lists. Brava!

For health and appearance, your commendable 12 pound weight loss and maintaining your new lower weight may have been the most important accomplishment. I hope to follow in your footsteps and lose 10 to 15 pounds in 2012. I've lost about 5 pounds in the last 8 weeks.

Regarding transgender conference attendance, I know you are hoping to attend the wonderful Southern Comfort Conference (SCC) in Atlanta (September 18 - 23). If I make my weight loss goal and can afford it, I'd like to go and meet you in person. I attended in 2005, 2006, and 2010. All three were FANTASTIC!

Have a lovely, lovely feminine 2012!

    Love,

    Sheila.

    Well done!!

By the way, where did you find the Femulators participating in a Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency stunt, 2008? I'd love to know the back story behind the picture and find out how the stunt came about.

    Have a happy New Year!!

  6. Good job Stana,
I worked on eye contact at Macys while trying on dresses this year and my andro look. Coming along and its fun to keep them guessing. You have a wonderful New Year and where did you get that Ms Santa outfit, its way cute. Was your hose color taupe?
    Love
