  1. I'm glad to see another male by birth person use his masculine name, Jim.
I used to use a feminine nickname, Johanna, but have discontinued that practice.

  2. I forgot my pocketbook, talk about panic!
It was after a class, I walked back to my car and my car door didn’t open when I touched the door handle!
    Whoa! No pocketbook.
I rush back to the classroom and no pocketbook!
Down to the main office… nope no one turned in a pocketbook. Did you check with the professor?
Up the elevator to the four floor and I walk into his office… he holds up my pocketbook and says I was wondering how long it would take for you to realize you forgot it.
    Whew!
All my IDs, all my credit cards, and all my keys were in there and my life flashed before my eyes.
One good thing about being trans is that I can walking in to my bank and they instantly recognize the 6 foot trans person… “Hello Diana” at least I could cash a check with out an ID.

    1. That's why I use a cross body bag so I don't leave it anywhere.

  3. This happened to me on one occasion while out enfemme. I was on business, got in early dressed up and hit the mall and lunch at Cheesecake factory, I thought for sure I lost the keys to the car. Here I was stranded dressed as a woman with no way back to the hotel. I eventually dumped my purse like Stana did and found my keys.

This also reminds me of the time I was dressed enfemme and this was early in my going out and about career, so I was a bit timid without confidence. My room key would not work, so I had to go to the front desk, show them my male ID and get a new key.

They were very accommodating and complementary, what I thought would have been a disaster showed me there was nothing to fear about going out and about
