ReplyDeleteDuring World War Two, my Dad who was training B-17 crews in the States after flying 52 missions over Europe early in the War, got the opportunity to drive those two Gentleman around the Air Base where they landed after putting together one of their 👠 shows in order to do a dress rehearsal complete with flying the troop in and setting up.
He drove them the long way around the base making sure he hit every pothole on the way.
As they got out of the car, Bing turned and said "Thank You, I have never had a better tour of EVERY pothole in Hell before!" Leslie started laughing his derriere Clean Off as my Dad just got redder and redder !!!!

ReplyDeleteI have dress in the same fashion as Miss Venus is wearing--my dress is a heather grey. This dress was one of my first finds--over 20 years ago.
She looks better in her outfit than than I do in mine...
