One small step by a very small man

One hour after the new president was sworn in, the LGBT rights page of the White House website was removed. You can look for whitehouse.gov/lgbt, but "Sorry, the page you're looking for can't be found."

Searching the website for "LGBT" or "transgender" is just as futile.

Sad, very sad.

  1. Is there a website for Heterosexuals on the whitehouse.gov site? Is that discriminatory as well? Should the rest of us protest, too? Get over yourself, brother!

    2. Well said Justice. Personally, as a T-girl myself I would rather not have a segregated website. Why would we want to draw more attention than we already get? I see having it removed as a positive sign that we are no different from any other American citizens.

    3. I wonder if you will think it is a positive sign when they remove your rights, too?

  2. That's just the start, wait until the 20 million that were on Obamacare begin to realise that Trump has signed the paperwork to get rid of it but has forgotten to replace it.

  3. Using the term small man is polite wording Stana. You have a lot of reserve...

    1. He is definitely "small." I gave him the benefit of the doubt about him being a "man."

  4. It's customary for the outgoing administration to erase all web sites in order to allow the new administration to begin anew. Obama did the same during the Bush transition

  5. Love your blog. It maybe customary. Obamawhitehouse.archives.gov. Similar to the Clinton and Bush White House websites, President Obama’s WhiteHouse.gov will be preserved on the web and frozen after January 20th and made available at ObamaWhiteHouse.gov. The incoming White House will receive the WhiteHouse.gov domain and all content that has been posted to WhiteHouse.gov during the Obama administration will be archived with NARA.

  7. For a website that claims to support inclusion, Femulate seems to have taken a new lower road in the discussion. Stana has been becoming meaner and more belligerent during this election cycle. It's not a pretty picture. It seems it's your goal to condemn President Trump even before he took office. Politics is a messy business at best and almost every candidate including Hilary said things that with hindsight they wish they had not uttered. Give President Trump a chance and judge him on his ACTIONS and not his thought or what some talking head claims he said. Keep the focus on your blog and the way you have done it in the past and leave the politics to the politicians.

    Love you Sweetie!

    1. It is my blog and I will continue to write what I want. To the divisive forces that would take that freedom away, I want to tell you something: You can have my keyboard. You can pry it from my cold dead hands!

  8. If you are familiar with the writings of Saul Alinsky you will recognized the plan to delegitimize the Trump administration with the goal in mind of pushing the left wing agenda. it is based on creating ill will against Trump, often by making up motives and innuendos that can not be proven or disproven. The next step is to ridicule.
Much of the T community has fallen into the echoing class of pushing hatred against anyone who is not a left wing political elitist. No one has shown where Trump has actually done anything against any component of the LGBT community. When that occurs, if that occurs there will be time and space for actual bile instead of the false condemnation because much of the populace chose to go against the liberal, elite, establishment.

Just like the right wing did to Obama. Karma is such a bitch, isn't it!

You also wrote, "much of the populace chose to go against the liberal, elite, establishment."

Yeah, but the MAJORITY voted FOR the liberal, elite, establishment.

    2. When Mr. Obama took office, Democrats had 58 seats in Senate, 256 seats in House and 28 governorships.

Now, 46 Dems in Senate, 192 in House and 16 Governorships.

And yet Mrs. Clinton won popular vote. Unless Dems turn the tables and pick up seats, the next Republican might again lose popular vote, but won Electoral College.

Gotta do more than win the Northeast and California.
