Let There Be (the Right) Light

In her blog post, image consultant Ginger Burr asks, "Are you getting dressed in the dark?" and goes on to explain how the correct lighting is so critical to achieving your look.

(Which is why I always use a lighted makeup mirror when I do my makeup.)

Ginger's post is full of valuable information and I highly recommend reading it.

  1. I also use a lighted mirror to apply my makeup and have a smaller lighted mirror for traveling. It's better than using hotel lighting and it just makes sense!

  2. Yes I use a lighted makeup mirror. One side has a magnifier and the other side flips around for a flat mirror. Also the magnified mirror eliminates my need to wear glasses while doing eye makeup.

  3. Yes, yes, yes. A lighted mirror is essential, especially when traveling. Especially if the hotel, as many do today, lacks a vanity.
