I am a big fan of MAD and Al Jaffee. When he was alive, Jaffee lived in Provincetown and the last time I attended Fantasia Fair, I walked to his house on Commercial Street. I am a fan-girl, but I would never go up to his house and knick on his door—I just hoped I'd bump bump into him puttering around the yard or fetching the mail, but no such luck. In retrospect, maybe I should have knocked on his door!
