Now depending on where this store is located the "drag" squad will shortly show up at this store and arrest the owner unless of course the governor of that state once took part in a womanless beauty contest and wants to see if they have that dress in his size

You know it had to be a guy who would think to add a half slip. I hope the mannequin also had on a panty for modesty.
DeleteA friend of ours owns a consignment shop, and he has a total panic attack when there is an unclothed mannequin on the display floor.
DeleteI brought him a 'free mannequin' as a 'gift' and he had a total fit over the fact the mannequin arrived 'unclothed'.
Never look a gift 'mannequin' in the nether regions-- as if they had them.

DeleteVelma, My cousin Danny was a window dresser for a big department store and in charge of all the mannequins., He was just like your consignment shop friend, except worse, because he had a platoon of mannequins! I remember him telling me he had a truckload of them delivered to his store and he had to work late in order to "have them presentable". No naked dummies for Danny!

DeleteFreud postulated that men often had occupations that in their 'subconscious minds' revealed a symbol that represented a core repressed sexual interest. My favorite example is a person who sells womens' shoes for a living, while giving 'excellent service'-- he got to handle the shoes, feet, ect....
