Biden Picks Transwoman as Assistant Health Secretary

Biden's pick, Rachel Levine, will be the first openly transgender federal official, assuming her nomination is confirmed by the Senate.

Read all about it here.

That officially puts an end to Trump's War on Transgenders!

  2. The bad news is, you're mistaken. The good news is, maybe trump was just a ditch in transrights...

My friend Amanda Simpson was years ahead of Rachel Levine. She worked in the Obama White House and was appointed to a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) position.

  3. I saw this! I was thrilled!

I saw that Sarah McBride was elected to the Delaware State Senate. I was thrilled.

I was thrilled that Marine One took off a short time ago, it's the end of a (bad) era. Hopefully, our nation can start to heal some of the open wounds created over the past four years.
I'm not giving Joe or Kamala a free pass, I will hold them accountable for any bad moves they make but I'm pretty sure there will be very few reasons for me to get my panties in a bunch over something they've done.

Thank you Stana! Thank you to our sisters and brothers and to our friends who prefer "they." We all came together at the polls, in numbers too large to dispute (although they're still scheming to overthrow the will of the majority).
It's been a long four years but we always knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel and that light shines today.

I feel that I'm once again safe.

    Love to all, Heather

  4. I have always been (and still am) a Bernie fan.. but I have never understood cynical people who said that it didn't matter which party gave the president.

Biden has always said he wanted to include the LBGTQ community with an emphasis on T (he didn't have to mention that but he did). And he kept his word!

    Representation matters!!

(And I'm just as glad that there is now a US Vice President from South Asian descent! :) )
