Caveat Emptor: Pinterest

I enjoy viewing the transgender images on Pinterest and have posted a few myself. But some of the transgirls images on Pinterest are too good to be true.

I have seen images of so-called transgirls on Pinterest that I know for a fact are not trans, so it makes me wonder about the validity of the other transgirl images. (One bad Adam's apple spoils the whole bunch.)

It does not mean that I will stop visiting Pinterest, but I will view the transgirls images with a grain of salt.

  1. Yeah kinda have ta, Stana. I love Pinterest and am on it regularly. And like you am often skeptical when I see a gurl who just seems to perfect to be true. One such gurl in question is the photo of arela Granda (sp) from the teen show Sam and Cat. It's often used to project a fantasy. I think because she is so pretty, and some of us out there are really so emerged in the fantasy that they just wish for it to be a pretty boy.

    2. It shows up weekly in my feed. I won't pin it and often comment. If I run across it again, I send it your way. Ariana Granda is absolutely someone to femulate, but is not a femulator! ;)

  2. Love that outfit on you Stana. Where did you find it? It kind of reminds me of one I tried on last weekend.

    2. Agreed - I wonder sometimes about these Before and After sites, too.
