My "Business Casual" Dilemma

As I mentioned here last Sunday, I am going out en femme on Thursday, but I don't have a thing to wear!

That's a lie. Actually, I have plenty of things to wear, but I can't decide what to wear.

My manager says we should dress "business casual." That eliminates evening gowns and cocktail dresses, but still leaves a lot to choose from my closet.

In deference to my healing toe, I know I plan to wear my most comfortable shoes, so I guess I will build my outfit around my choice of footwear.

  1. Linking outfits to shoes is always a good and wise decision! Good luck on the business outting!

  2. A simple black sheath, but dress it down with a lighter color shoe and matching belt or scarf would work perfect. All about your comfort with the shoes though. Have a blast!

  3. LBD
You always look so nice and you and I know The little black dress speaks to business casual these days

  4. LBD with subdued accessories or a pale blue or gray skirt and an understated blouse. The latter you can accessorize more. I wouldn't wear a suit, but the skirt could be a suit seperate.
