The "Femulate Her:" Video Experiment

If you have been viewing this blog lately, you may have noticed the video versions of Femulate Her: appearing here in the main section of the blog, i.e., the center column.

After experimenting with this feature for the past few days, I finally managed to get the video to appear in the Femulate Her: sidebar, too, and that is where it will appear in the future.

I hope you enjoy this new feature!

The videos cause my computer to freeze and crash practically every time I tune into your blog! And even if it doesn't crash, they don't show up at all --

  2. Anonymous --- You must have the free Adobe Flash Player installed in your browser in order to properly view the video. (You can get Flash Player here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/).

By the way, I successfully tested the video playback with three different browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari) on two different platforms (Windows XP, Mac OS X).

  3. Dear Stana,

I found the Wikipedia link to the term "muxe" in "The Femulated" sidebar very interesting.

A number of years ago, I vaguely remember reading about a pre-marriage custom in an Asian country. I seem to recall that country to be Thailand **, but I'm not sure. In the particular country, at least for a sizeable portion of the culture, there was a "day before the wedding" ceremony for the bridegroom wherein he dressed as a woman all that day. The ceremony was meant somehow to bring out the man's feminine side to honor his future wife, and the ceremony was completely accepted in the culture.

Stana, have you ever heard of the ceremony I have so vaguely remembered? If so, I'd love if you could educate us about it. Thank You.

    Love,

    Sheila.

** note: I may be thinking of Thailand because of their famous "lady boys" and the large number of SRS procedures there. Perhaps the country was Laos or Cambodia or another country in that area.

  4. Sheila --- I am clueless about Asian grooms dressing like women on the day before the wedding, but I did discover (via Google) that in Scotland, the groom is often dressed up as a pregnant woman and paraded around town on the night before the wedding!
