'American Idol' contestant from Waterbury is going to Hollywood after Katy Perry calls her 'full of light'
This is a big deal because a transwoman appeared on American Idol (that may or may not be a first – I dunno) and it is a little deal because she is from Waterbury, my hometown!

DeleteWhoo Hoo! I just finished the illustrated novel, "Dragman". What a treat. Steven Appleby is a transwoman who is still "Steven". I can't wait for another of her illustrated novels! By the way, kudos on the photograph! I went on a search and could only find cartoons! My guess is that she's Megg, but she reveals no actual images of "Simon".
