  1. The late great Alastair Sim was the first Ms Fritton in the first St Trinians films .. playing the same role as Rupert Everett -and he played the part so well and had lost of praise for his role.

  2. It IS difficult to walk across a lawn with heels. I have to park my F150 close to the edge of the driveway as I allow a neighbor to park his Mercedes on my driveway. So I have to walk on grass to get to the door of my vehicle. I wear heels on Sunday morning so I have to put my weight on the balls of my feet so the heels don't sink in the grass.

    1. Alastair Sim was just what you said, Lucy. In addition to two turns as St. Trinian's headmistress he is the greatest of all Ebenezer Scrooge actors. He was in "The Inspector Calls", among many other roles, and a delightfully wicked "headmaster" of the "School for Scoundrels".
