Update

The surgery went well yesterday. I was in the hospital from 8 AM to 3 PM. Operation lasted about 90 minutes. The rest of the time was spent prepping and unprepping.

Doctor said my hernia was “big.” There are now three tiny wounds on my stomach where the robot ports were located. Except for the soreness around the port holes, I have no pain.

Next week I go see the doctor for a follow-up and then I am good to go femulating again.

I'm glad you came out well! Has the doctor said or do you think the hernia repair will affect tucking? Best wishes for speedy healing.

  5. Glad you are on the mend. I've had two hernia surgeries, opting for the old fashioned way rather than laparoscopic. Get well soon.

  7. Think I commented in the previous Post for here, glad your surgery went well, you might be a bit tender for a while, so take care with the femulating and of course as things open up it will be fun out and about for all.

  8. I am glad you are doing well.
You really gotta hand it to 'the robotic surgery'.
Minimal pain, quick recovery, clearly a money saver, as for the uninitiated, if the time spent in recovery is two days or less, the surgery is considered 'outpatient', and the insurer pays the whole bill!
