Despicable Administration Eyes Defining Transgender Out of Existence

According to the Sunday New York Times, The Despicable/Trump Administration "is considering narrowly defining gender as a biological, immutable condition determined by genitalia at birth, the most drastic move yet in a governmentwide effort to roll back recognition and protections of transgender people under federal civil rights law."

The Department of Health and Human Services, which is spearheading this effort, argued "that key government agencies needed to adopt an explicit and uniform definition of gender as determined 'on a biological basis that is clear, grounded in science, objective and administrable.'"

That is a laughable argument in light of the anti-scientific, anti-intellectual stance of the Despicables.

...as opposed to their climate policy which doesn't recognize scientific, objective studies?

We don't need no steenkin' consistency, just whatever we feel like.....

  2. The science shows that gender is not black and white and there is ambiguity that occurs in all the animal kingdom. Those rates have remained consistent throughout history. In ancient times people with gender differences were revered. Christianity changed that.

Trump, as bad as he is, remains a symptom of a very virulent and insidious disease. I try not to waste my energy bashing the orange menace. I concentrate on the treasonous trash who support him by spreading his hate and lies.

Trump has no core but his supporters have a rotten core.

  4. Every president has his flaws. Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama had their flaws as well.

It takes an egotistical person to run for this most difficult job that ages the individual. I think the job of the president is too much for a single person. Perhaps we need to break the job up into two positions:
    * One would be to be a CEO to run the country to be elected by the Electoral College
    * The second position would be the head of state, elected by popular vote.

I fervently wish Trump would lay off the the rescinding the rights of transgender individuals. I guess Trump has never heard of intersexed individuals, even to the point of genetics; eg., XXY chromosomes.

That is a shame, as otherwise Trump has done a lot of good for our country in my opinion.

The man--who is so disgusting he wants to get in bed with his own daughter--has built his so-called accomplishments on nothing but lies....

Why would you give any credit to this cretin who would essentially "erase" you from existence?

      I say, "Bring back Barack..."

What possible good? Praising the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville? Putting children in cages? Giving Putin a lap dance in Helsinki?

      President Dump is evil.

If Dump is so wonderful, why has he been an historically unpopular president?

His popularity has been underwater from Day One...

I can't think of a single flaw President Obama had, except perhaps to be too trusting of for too long the Republicans who were out to get him from Day One.

We had no significant scandals or wrongdoing in his administration.

He is clearly the best president this nation has had in my lifetime---going back to the Nixon administration.

  5. I whole-heartedly agree. He is a danger to us all, and now he wants more nukes. We need to keep in mind, though, that he operates by distraction and so we need to stay alert for other actions that may not be getting intensive news coverage. What a piece of work he is!
