well the ‘Funny’ of the Mother dressing her son in one of her smart skirt suits & heels does give hope for the future. what if this became ‘the way’ to get that edge to get ever decreasing professional jobs because of AI? think how the office would change ! for the better in my opinion. guess i was just born too early 😢💋💋💋💋💋
The picture of the first day of retirement is totally applicable to me. When I retired my wife was still working. She does not drive due to a depth perception problem with her eyes, so I drove her to her job and picked her up at the end of her day. I am a 1960's dresser, a la June Cleaver, so it was always a knee length dress, heels and hosiery, and all the proper undergarments. Yes, to the wig, but very light on the makeup; lip color to stain my coffee mug and a wisp of odor from the lip gloss. I'd spend the day accomplishing the domestic chores: washing and ironing, changing bed linens, baking and meal preparation, vacuuming. I had plenty of time to eat my breakfast and lunch in our secluded back yard, weather permitting. It all came to an end when my wife retired. I still do most of the domestic chores, but in drab...ugh!
