I have to chuckle about the picture of the foundation garment. In my youth I scoured the daily newspaper and the weekly magazines for advertisements about foundation garments. In my neighborhood there were two women's store on opposite corners on the main shopping frag that had window displays. Many of the mannequins were adorned with all-in-one body briefers, open bottom girdles, full slips, bras, everything. There was a bus stop in front of one of the stores. I use to pretend to be waiting for the bus, but always trying to catch a glimpse of those mannequins. I did not have the guts to get closer. Now, with some hindsight, as well as revisiting those ads and Youtube videos, the models really did not need a foundation garments. Oh, perhaps to stuff a half inch smooth, but, really, expect to a miracle? My foundation garments do nothing to make the visual image any more pleasing. In some respects they are a torture device. I fully understand why a woman wants to shed one as quickly as possible.
I always loved the days that I wore a bra for so long that it felt like sweet relief to finally take it off. It usually took about 12 hours until I got to that point.
