An underwire bra never caused me trouble but flying in boy-mode one time a TSA agent at Bradley Airport poked my chest. Years ago I was wearing a sportsbra filled with cotton bra enhancers and I guess he wanted to be sure I wasn't smuggling contraband. I've since flown in boy-mode and enfemme with an underwire bra without any issues. Just be sure your pockets are empty and your gender marker on the ID you're presenting matches what's on the flight manifest.
I've not tried flying in pumps... Heeled sandals, yes.
I'm flying again in November, we'll see what I choose to wear. I've worn a skirt and turtleneck. Tee-shirt and shorts. Slacks and heeled sandals. Next time will it be leggings? A dress? We'll see.
I hate when that happens!

I have flown dressed "en femme" wearing a dress and an underwire bra. I was NEVER asked if I was wearing an underwire bra.
