Friday Femulating Fun

Leon emailed me about a crossdressing scenario in a 1993 video game called Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers. It seems that our hero, Mr. Wilco, must pass as the owner of a stolen ATM card, so naturally he decides to dress up as the owner: a pretty blonde woman. He goes to the dress store, tells the robot clerk that he’s shopping for a friend... who’s his size!

Been there, done that – who hasn’t?

Click here to view it on YouTube. The crossdressing scene begins at the 27:15 mark.

  1. Kinda dumb. But what do I know? I'm in my 70's............so. Anyway, I prefer real crossdressers from the past versus AI nonsense from the present/future.

  2. I watched the video on YouTube, The scenario in the video game is so relatable that it had to be written by a non-civilian although the clues are there Paula G

  3. Thank you, Stana. That photo was taken at Disney World on the boat ride from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian. That's one of my beautiful dollies. Her name is Blaire Wilson! As you can see I am wearing my fairy wings! My dress is "Toy Parade". I guess that is obvious! Such a magical place for a little girl!

  4. I unexpectedly came across that video game at 17. You wouldn't believe how delighted I was. And the other commenter is right, that scenario must have been written by a non-civilian. If you look at the dresses in the shop, you comment on how they'd look on you. When Roger is in fem mode, he walks, talks, and reacts with the NPCs like a woman. Even the narrator gets into the act: 'It wouldn't be very ladylike to break that.' I'd hoped that Roger would spend the rest of the game like that, but it only lasted about ten minutes.

  6. Wonderful to be able to feel yourself, authentic, dressed as a woman.

  7. The robot is so helpful and understanding, but then calls him/her "sick-o". What a disappointing end to the conversation.

  8. Goodness, that brings me back to my first time which I've previously written about: I was seven and, against my will, I was forced to dress up as a girl to be in a summer day camp show for our parents on the parent day. My dress was very similar except it had no images on the material, I wore white anklets too and a frothy petticoat.

It's not a good memory, but it started something inside me which hasn't stopped over the subsequent sixty two years and counting. I'm going to become a first time grandpa in December.

While the times I have spent dressed up as a woman, with the exception of that first time, have been some of the most thrilling times in my life I hope my grandchild will not struggle with this issue as I have.
