Trans Airline Stewardesses, Part 2

pc_air_tg_flt_attendants-2011-02-09 (This is a follow-up to the blog posting here last Monday about PC Air hiring transwomen as flight attendants.)

The ladies in the photo above are the four transwomen hired for the job. Left to right, they are Nathatai Sukkaset, 26, Phuntakarn Sringern, 24, Dissanai Chitpraphachin, 24, and Chayathisa Nakmai, 24.

All I have to add is that it is too bad Trans World Airlines (TWA) is no longer in business.

  1. One of the articles I read noted that 6 transwomen had been hired as flight attendants and that there had been over 100 initial applicants for the job.
    All good news.

  2. I had hoped that as society progressed one could hope that they would be evaluated and the hired for their qualifications; not having specific positions set aside for specific group that fits someones idea of how to classify people. Not sure how this is a step in a good direction.
