The Amazing Miss Engg

miss_engg

Wow!!!

Seems that the College of Engineering, University of Philippines-Diliman conducts an annual womanless beauty pageant competition for the title of Miss Engg.

Viewing the portraits of the 2010 pageant contestants, I am of the opinion that the Miss Engg womanless pageant has to be one of the best, if not the best womanless pageant conducted at an educational institute, whether it be grammar school, middle school, high school, or college.

The girls' femulation is so good that it took awhile before I was sure that the girls were really guys. What finally convinced me was the set of portraits of the girls in boy mode. If all I had to look at were their evening gown and swimsuit portraits, I would still need some convincing.

The portraits are absolutely gorgeous. It is obvious that a lot of time and effort went into the portraits. Whoever was involved knew their business. (I wish I could find someone around here that could do my portrait en femme like the Miss Engg portraits!)

Anyway, without further ado, visit the Miss Engg Facebook page and/or feast your eyes on the images displayed at the following links:

•  Evening gown portraits

•  Swimsuit portraits

•  Video game costume character portraits

•  Boy mode portraits

There are also some videos on the Internet that you can find by searching for “Miss Engg” on YouTube.

Again, Wow!!!

UPDATE: Here are the images from the 2007 and 2009 installments of Miss Engg pageant.

The best you have found to date. You have to respect the engineers for their attention to detail and precision.
Did you also notice the names of each of the contestants in their evening gowns. They seemed to be related to engineering in one way or another.
    Ms. Aggregates
    Ms. Erg
    Ms. Cursor
    Ms. Circuit

    Excellent

  2. Beauty and brains are an unbeatable combination! I have to agree with Stana that the guys were undistinguishable from female models.
Given that engineering is still male-dominated, it's good to see that some of the engineers of the future are fully connected to their feminine side.

  3. Dear Stana,

Thank You for sharing these lovely femulators with us. Yes, they are amazing, and they are to be commended for showing their feminine side to the world. Also, their engineering skills were evident in the excellent gaffing in the swimsuit photos.

    Love,

    Sheila.

  4. Dear Stana,

Can you share with us the link(s) to where you found the photo of Robert Pattison as a lovely woman? I tried a number of search terms in a couple of search engines, but did not receive any results.

    Thanks, sweetie,

    Sheila.

  5. Sheila --- I received an e-mail overnight informing me that that photo is actually actress Marina Gatell from a film called “Little Ashes.” Robert Pattinson is also in the film, but does not appear en femme. Either my original source was in error or I misinterpreted the original source. Sorry about the confusion!

  6. A little googling turns up quite a bit on Miss Eng'g. There are a lot of youtube videos going back four or five years. They are amazing, but it's truly amazing what you can do with the support of friends and family.

  8. This is actually an inter-organization competition within the college, during the annual Engineering Week. The candidates are called Ms. + (org name). :)

  9. Hi there! I'm a student at UP Diliman and I'd like to share more information, since my roommates are the ones responsible for Ms. Kem :)

This is an annual collaboration of all the student organizations under the College of Engg, and the contestants are named for the orgs they represent. I have personally witnessed the amazing effort the orgs put in "convincing" the judges! All outfits for the pageant are handmade with utmost detail. What is also amazing is that most (if not all) of the contestants have been dressed as such, and yet take their roles on stage seriously to win the title. It's a great show to look forward to every year :)

  10. hi! I'm a student at the College of Engineering, UP Diliman. It was a shock that Ms. Engg has already caught the attention of someone from another country! :))

the previous comment is correct; the contestants are named after their respective organizations. Ms.Engg is held every year (december) as part of the Engineering Week. And mind you, it is a prestigious title that the contestants seriously vie for. They even go as far as removing their body hair to have smooth skin!

And oh, all the Ms.Engg contestants are straight guys! :D
