Clothes Make the Woman

  1. Hi Stana

I've been following your blog for sometime (though I notice I've somehow inadvertently signed in again - oops).

I had always enjoyed your choice of images and your wise words. However if I may? Are we seeing a hint of a drift from happy male cross-dresser (likes girls) to transgender (likes boys)?

  2. Closetta --- There are all sorts of transgenders out there; some like girls, some like boys, and some like girls and boys. I fall in the first group, but I recognize all groups, so there you have it.

  3. Dear Stana,

I love your photos and artwork. I also love your open-mindedness and inclusion of all people (whether straight, gay, bisexual, etc.). Transgender people can be any sexual orientation.

I'm sure Closetta meant well, but she seems to misunderstand that "transgender" includes crossdressers and transsexuals and other femulators, and refers strictly to "gender identity" and not "sexual orientation". "Transgender" is an umbrella term that includes all persons who "cross gender boundaries".

I was wondering if you are the cartoonist in the latest 2 lovely and well-drawn cartoons.

    Love, Sheila from Tampa.

Note: I'm not really trying to be Anonymous. But I have so many accounts (Yahoo, FaceBook, MySpace, Apple MobileMe, etc.) that I just don't want to create and have to keep track of yet another account, like Google).

  6. Closetta --- I did not intend to chasten you; I just wanted to clarify my sexuality.

  7. Closetta,

Thank You for understanding. I knew you didn't mean anything negative in your original post. I just wanted to clarify that "transgender" includes all who cross gender boundaries, regardless of their sexual orientation. I have heard some of my crossdresser friends claim that they are "... a crossdresser and NOT transgendered ...". But, by definition, if you are a crossdresser or a transsexual, you are transgendered. And, of course, both are perfectly OK. We are who we are.

    Love,
    Sheila from Tampa.
