RE: Charity gala where one husband clearly outdid all the wives On Sunday mornings I see most of the women wearing trousers, and some in jeans and sneakers. Hardly any of them wear heels. So, as a protest, I deliberately doll myself up when I wear a dress, with nail polish, hoop earrings, makeup, and heels. (Otherwise, I wear a man's coat and tie outfit. Only one other man does so.) John
I love the Hanes ad! Whenever I would read or hear that slogan, I would answer "this gentleman does!" I think the seated passenger is having thoughts of joining the mile high club with the lovely flight attendent ;)
