I've always loved that song by The Kinks and even almost had my own Lola moment in college. I met her in a club, where we shared a few drinks and a few dances, and was disappointed when I learned that she was actually a she. But I often wonder what I would have if she wasn't...
I think that line contributed to why I always liked Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da.
