Designed for Girls Like Us

If you crossdress with only panties underneath then urinating is simple, but if you wear any kind of shapewear, then urinating is not so simple. Besides raising your skirt or lowering your slacks, you then have to deal with your hosiery (if any) and finally your shapewear. And when you are relieved, you have to reverse the process all within the confines of a narrow cubicle. Exiting the cubicle, the chances that you are put together as well as you were on the way in is hit or miss. Yes, being a woman is hard work!

Over the years, I have worn a variety of shapewear. You name it and I probably encountered it. Early on, I noticed something in one of my mother’s girdles – an unadvertised feature – a pee hole. A little slit in the girdle’s crotch that allows milady to pee without removing her shapewear.

I am not sure about the intricacies of female urinary plumbing, but it seems to me that the pee hole might not be adequate for miladies – so much so that there are products on the market to accessorize the pee hole to prevent wetting the shapewear.

On the other hand, pee holes are ideal for girls like us. Just pull your equipment out through the pee hole, empty your bladder, use toilet paper to wipe any access from your equipment, then store your equipment back through the pee hole! Voila! Your shapewear remained intact doing its thing. You didn’t even have to lower your thigh highs, however, if you are a pantyhose girl, you still have to lower your hosiery.

After discovering pee holes, I made sure to only purchase shapewear that included that feature. And if I absolutely had to have a new girdle missing that feature, I just removed some stitching in the crotch for a DIY pee hole.

  2. Even as an in-home dresser using the bathroom can be a pain in the butt. My preference is traditional stockings attached to a long open bottom girdle over a panty. Hiking up the dress and a slip, adjusting the girdle and hosiery, pulling down the panty. The reversing the entire process. No wonder it takes a woman forever to go to the potty. When first reading on a sister-site I read of the supposed thrill of under dressing. Most male bathrooms seem to have two urinals and one toilet. It's heck if you really have to go bad and the toilet is occupied and the two urinals are not in use.

  3. Shape wear with a pee hole sounds delightful. Given that we likely buy these more than GGs do now, the manufacturers should consider this a standard feature. I prefer the larger, single occupancy restrooms if available, for dealing with the shape wear reconfiguration issue.
I'll consult Elise and see if she will agree to stock pee hole shape wear in our Casa Stana - Zurich franchise gift shop, along with the dirndls. : )

  5. I had no idea about the pee hole in my shapewear but I noticed at one point after sitting down for a bit that my Baofeng was escaping through the slit. WTF? Oh its designed for peeing but its really not that big of a slit so not understanding womens plumbing I added 2 snaps. Now everything remains where it should. Its a lot of work being female but I enjoy the ritual of getting all dressed up. Hugs Brenda

  6. I'm a stay-at- home CD and have the luxury of a larger, private bathroom and even then it's a pain in the butt pulling some things down, other things up, untucking, retucking...I can't even imagine what that's like in a teeny tiny stall! I often find myself asking myself if I *really* need to go before I finally go.
