If you can’t stand the heat, then put on a sundress!

cooking_outdoors It is hot and humid in the Femulation City. The temperature should get up to 93 or 94 this afternoon with relative humidity in the 50% neighborhood.

It was so hot yesterday afternoon that the little woman suggested that I put on a dress. She must have been joking because she knows darn well that I do not own a sundress or any other dress that is comfortable in hot and humid weather.

On the other hand, with the air-conditioner cranking away at full blast, I could have followed her suggestion, dressed to the nines, cooked our Independence Day leftovers on the grill, and lounged around the house the rest of the day.

Maybe next time.

I do not femulate. However, I do have a sundress that I keep for when it is extremely hot outside. I even have been known to take out trash in it and position the trash can out in the alley for the following "garbage day"

  3. I suggest you get a sundress just in case there is another oppertunity.

    Stana,

As a confirmed femulator I suffer from 'dress envy' on a regular basis. In the office, whether in a suit and tie or in 'business casual' attire, I regularly take note of what the women are wearing.

With this current heat wave the best I can do is 'dockers' and a collared shirt. The women can wear lightweight skirts, sleeveless tops and dresses. They look so much cooler and more comfortable as we brace for another HHH day. I am so jealous.

When I get home tonight I will most likely just lounge arond in a sundress, a nightgown of perhaps just a slip.

I have been eyeing sundresses enviously for a very long time and particularly the last couple of days. I thought if anyone would be wearing one it would be you? How am I supposed to live vicariously through your exploits now? Damn. I might have to just go out and get one myself now.

    Pat,

You don't have to femulate to wear a skirt. I wear one all the time such as when I go shopping, and I still retain a masculine identity. I wear men's shirts and t-shirts with sandals or boat shoes.

Where everybody wearing shorts a knee-length denim skirt is not that noticeable.

The workplace might be a bit of a problem. I can't make any suggestions there; it depends on the workplace. Maybe if they would accept shorts they might accept skirts.
