  1. I've seen very many films with and/or about Femulators, but "He's My Girl" has Mehdi Dehbi who does the best job of female impersonation I've ever seen in a film. Unlike very many of these films, there's no reason to go into "deliberate suspension of belief" when perceiving Naim/Habiba as a female. The film itself is very well worth watching as a rom-com. It took me until the third watching before my amazement at Dehbi's femulation stopped my full concentration on the film!

Is Dehbi a "non-civilian"? Beats me. This is the only film in which he femulates, and all the other films/stills show a very manly man. The transition was breathtaking to this old queen who thought his "trans-dar" had seen it all. Apparently I hadn't, as I re-calibrated my "Trans-dar"!

I don't think the film is available in Region 1 format. But a while ago I revisited mulit-region DVD/Blu-ray players on Amazon.com and found that the price has come down considerably. I bought the Sony model. Region 1 and 2 formats play equally well.
