The “Extra Hour of Sleep” Post

  1. The last two funnies did make me wonder of the experiences of others. I have found that younger women are becoming more open to my dressing nowadays. Are others feeling that they are seeing similar ? Has (social) media coverage affected attitudes ? Just a thought.

    1. I went to the opera today (Rigoletto if anyone is wondering). Walking there a young woman gave me an eye roll. At the opera an elderly woman who must have been at least 80 told me she was jealous of my skirt. If I was keeping tally, both old and young are pretty good to me but the middle aged are the most likely to look annoyed. You have to be doing something right if it’s aggravating the frumpy brigade.

  2. If I had to endure a dress code that forced me to wear a coat and tie "monkey" suit, I would REALLY embraced the new male dress code, as shown in the first cartoon. I like to dress up on Sunday mornings, but I hate to wear the hackneyed prosaic coat and tie outfit, preferring a dress and heels. Dresses fit me just fine with my chest mounds, courtesy of estrogen and heredity.
