Love the catalogue and all the things for the new age feminine men maybe show the new age women's catalogue showing the clothes our hard working masculine lady husband's will be wearing in this wonderful future
Just loving those ‘60s catalogues - an old fashion ‘Internet’ 😊 wonder how many found those as the inspiration to crossdress back then ? Also liking the Funny depicting how a wife b3nefits from her husband dressing. wondering how she feels wearing one of her husband’s outfits ? wonder how the husband feels seeing his own wife wearing an outfit he chose & wears regularly? i am sure that ‘wardrobe’ sharing enhances their marriage in all aspects 😉
Hi Christina, I agree!! I spent my teen years in the 80s and absolutely admired (and so badly wanted to wear) the feminine fashions of that decade. My favorite was the poofy, brightly colored, satin and lace prom dresses with matching pumps.
In days gone-by all there was for a young boy to gaze upon was the color advertisements in the magazines that came through the front door. No internet. I loved those ads for bras, panties, slips and hosiery. The art form left a little bit of mystery rather than "it all hang out" with a photograph. Although the engravings were in black and white, there were enticements in the daily newspaper. I think those ads with foundation garments are the reason for my collection of body briefers and girdles.
As a budding teenage crossdresser I kept a collection of clothing catalogs from Talbots that my mother had discarded. I loved watching her go through the new offerings when they arrived in the mail. She would ooh and ahh over the prim wool skirts, sophisticated blouses and graceful dresses and state out loud which lovely things she would wear when she got “skinny”. Angie
Wonderful work on this post! It reminds me of our family getting the Sears catalog in the mail when I was a kid. I would spend a lot of time lost in that catalog, under the guise of looking at toys or boy clothes, when I was secretly admiring all the intimates and hosiery pages. Even back then I wanted to wear those items, despite knowing that boys weren't supposed to. I wonder now if my parents could tell the catalogs had been opened frequently to those sections...
