It appears women are following in the footsteps, centuries later, of the Great Male Renunciation, of wearing dull drab clothing.
Now it's time for us men to start wearing bright flashy clothing. After all, if the Creator saw fit to have some male birds such as peacocks, cardinals, and mallards be the more colorful gender, why can't men do likewise?
A couple of years ago in the wintertime, on a Sunday morning, the temperature was -9 °C/15° F. Now that's mighty cold for the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
At Coffee Hour after the Eucharistic service I was sitting at a table, wearing a dress. All the women at table were wearing trousers. I quipped, "Sometimes it takes a man to wear a dress", and did I ever get reactions!
